David Spencer

David Ray Spencer, 74, of Lee County, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home. A lifelong resident of the Albany area and graduate of Albany High School, Mr. Spencer was retired from Bob’s Candies and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Dolly Spencer of Albany. Survivors include his son Chuck Spencer, Albany, grandchildren,  Jonathan Spencer, Albany, Destanie Spencer, Newnan, and 2 brothers, Bowen Spencer (Zakari), Ft. Walton, FL and John Spencer (Aileen), Tallahassee, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Sally Weatherby Adoption Center at 2223 Dawson Rd #7220, Albany, GA 31707. A private celebration of life with immediate family only is planned. The family is honoring David's request for no public ceremony.
