Zachary Watkins

Zachary Watkins, 42, of Lee County, died Monday, November 15, 2021 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born in Tifton, Zach grew up and lived in Lee County all of his life. He proudly worked at the Marine Corps Logistics Base within Marine Depot Maintenance Command. Zach loved being outdoors, grilling, hunting, fishing and working with his tractor.

Survivors include his family, Marti Kyle and daughter, Emery Watkins. Additional survivors include his sister, Laura Stanley (Stephen), brothers, Joseph Carson (Lee) and Clete Roberts (Jan), nephews, Joey and Briggs Carson and Wyatt Stanley, nieces, Madison Stanley and Chloe Roberts, his step father, Joe Carson, Jr., a devoted extended family and multitude of loyal friends.

Zach was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Griffin Carson and father, Cletus Reece Watkins.
