Wynell M. Yesbick

Wynell M. Yesbick, 95, of Leesburg, GA, passed away May 31, 2026 at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside funeral services will he held June 15, 2026 at 11:00 am CST at The Dothan City Cemetery in Dothan, AL.

Mrs. Yesbick was born in Brunswick, GA on January 5, 1931 the fourth of six children to Charlie and Lillie Thower. She grew up and lived in Slocomb, AL until 1994. She moved to Albany, GA and was a member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lee County, GA.

Mrs. Yesbick was a hard worker, fiercely independent and loved working in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Gloria Yesbick and Jayne Yesbick and four brothers, Charles Thrower, David Thrower, Robert Thrower, and James Thrower.

Survivors include her children, Shirley (Jerry) Hicks of Dothan, AL, Karen (Larry) McVay of Monument, CO, Diane Loggins of Leesburg, GA, Tommy Yesbick of Graceville, FL and Wayne (Elizabeth) Yesbick of Leesburg, GA, a sister, Eva Hobbs of Dothan, AL, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
