William E. Presley

The memorial service of William Earley Presley (son Bill), 48, who died June 6, 2011 at Willson Hospice House, will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor and Rev. Rick Hamilton will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the parlor of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Bill grew up in Albany, GA and graduated from Westover High School. He graduated from Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, GA, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Bill was a great outdoorsman and spent much of his adult life in Jackson Hole, WY and returned to Albany, GA in 2006. He was employed with Hidden Basin Outfitters and was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Dolores Presley of Albany, GA, a sister, Sandee Presley Crain and her husband, Joe, a niece, Allie Crawford Crain and a nephew, Joe Simms Crain III, all of Newnan, GA, an aunt and uncle, Diane and Kenneth Wilson and two cousins, Pam Wheet and Patti Earnhardt all of Concord, NC.

The family is at the residence of Bill and Dolores Presley, 2407 Tuxedo Place, Albany, GA, 31707.
