Wanda Lea Withers

Wanda Lea Withers, 79, of Newton, GA, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA. The remains have been cremated.

A native of Chanute, Kansas, Mrs. Withers had resided in Newton, GA since 1974 moving from Bedford, VA and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carthel Jack Withers and a brother, A. J. Schupback.

Survivors include two sons, Ray Withers, Newton, GA and Lyle Withers, Clermont, IN, a daughter, Susan Garten, Bedford, VA, a brother, Billy Schupback, Yankton, South Dakota, a sister, Frankie Bright, Chanute, KS, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
