Wanda Jean Furra Elkins

Wanda Jean Furra Elkins, 80 of Albany, GA died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at her residence. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Walden Chapel of the First United Methodist Church in Albany, GA. Rev. Don Adams and Rev. Carrie Austin will officiate.

A native of Sacul, TX, Mrs. Elkins had resided in Albany, GA for the past two years moving from Odessa, FL. She was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy, a retired realtor with Keystone Realty and a member of The Mending Hearts and the Golden Key Club. She attended the First United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Lane Elkins.

Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Jean E. Bonucci (Joseph), Joni G. Patten (Douglas W.) and Janice L. Williams (Len), six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
