Walter John "Walt" Caserio

Walter J. “Walt” Caserio, 68, of Lee County, GA, died January 12, 2024 at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 3:00 pm at The Church At The Groves.  Nick Edwards will officiate.

Walt was born on April 30, 1955 in Macon, GA, to John and Irmgard Caserio.  He graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1973 and graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in Microbiology and Chemistry.

Walt moved to Albany, GA in 1979 and spent his whole career with Molson Coors and retired as Plant Sanitarium.  He was a member of The Church At The Groves, was active in Quail Unlimited, was a huge Georgia Fan and enjoyed all types of hunting.  In addition to his parents, Walt was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Caserio.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Hall Caserio, a son, Jason (Lauren) Caserio and a grandson, Hudson Caserio, all of Lee County, GA.  

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Thursday at the Church.
