Virginia Hopson Adams

 Virginia Hopson Adams, 87, of Albany GA, went to be with our Lord November 4, 2022 at 11:15pm in the home of her daughter, MaryAnne Mosley of O'Brien, FL.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.  Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.  Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Zion Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Tift County, GA.

Mrs. Adams was born on April 23, 1935 in Tift County, GA to Lloyd and Nora Findley Hopson. Mrs. Adams was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albany for over 30 years.

Survivors include her 4 children, Henry Sizemore of Albany, GA, Otis C. Sizemore of Austin, TX, Mary Ann Mosley of O’Brien, FL and Janie Williams of Cartersville, GA, a sister, Ann Marie Bennett of Marianna, Fl, fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
