Vickey Thelma Germany

Vickey T. Germany Lashley, 52, of Leesburg, GA died, Saturday, August 3, 2013, at her residence. Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 3:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

A native of Albany, Mrs. Lashley had resided in Leesburg and Albany area all her life. She was a graduate of Albany High School class of 1979. She loved puzzles, stockcar racing, rummy, fishing, flowers, dirt track racing, and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Shirley Germany, two daughters, Penny Lynn Steadham and Jamie Michelle Lashley, a son, Earl Ray Lashley, and a grandchild, Brianna Nicole Lashley.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Lashley of Leesburg, a daughter, Cindy Marie "Bootsie" Lashley of Albany, a son, Earl Dewayne Lashley of Tallahassee, FL, a sister, Diane Jackson (James) of Albany, and two brothers, James Boyce Germany and James Wayne Germany, Jr. (Terry) all of Albany.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home.
