Verna Irene Fore Oldham

Verna Irene Fore Oldham, 93, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Leesburg, GA  passed away July 7, 2023. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 14, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Leesburg City Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Lowery will officiate.

Born in Leesburg, GA, Mrs. Oldham had resided in Crisp Co., GA for a number of years and owned Verna"s Kitchen in Warwick, GA. for a number of years and returned to Albany, GA before going to live with her son's and daughter in Florida. She attended Byne Memorial Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D, Oldham,  parents, Charles Herman Fore and Annie Bell Dudley, her son, Leslie Brown, sisters, Eleanor Nichols, Gladys Rachals, brothers, Charles Fore, Franklin Fore, Donnie Fore.

Survivors include her sons, Timothy Earl O'Malley (Kitty), Ft. Walton, FL, Patrick Earl O'Malley (Irene), Crestview. FL, daughter, Laura Anne O'Malley Dillard, Pensacola, FL, sisters, Annie Mae Held, Summerville, FL, Sarah Gilbreath (Jimmy), Sebring, FL and Patricia Hicks, Taylor, SC.

Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Verna Irene Fore Oldham to Byne Memorial Baptist Church, 2832 Ledo Rd., Albany, GA, 31707.  

The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery.
