Tracy Dean Cox

Tracy D. Cox, 52, of Worth County, GA died November 9, 2022 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Bobby Paul will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.

Tracy was born on December 11, 1969 in Albany, GA to Reddick and Brenda Cox.  He had lived in Albany before moving to Worth County.  Tracy was a member of The Albany Family Worship Center and was employed with United Rentals as a truck driver.  He enjoyed bass fishing, hunting and camping.  Tracy especially enjoyed spending time with his family and granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Cox of Worth County, two children, Amber Cox of Putney and James “J.D.” Cox of Worth County, two step-children, Clayton Moody and Landon Moody both of Albany, a grandchild, Jasper Johnson (Pappa’s pretty girl), two brothers, Mark Cox of Worth County and Shane (Felicia) Cox of Panama City Beach, a special nephew, Justin Cox of Worth County, his nieces, Bristol Williams of Worth County, Brenda Cox and Brittany Cox both of Panama City Beach, his great-nephew and two great-nieces, and his beloved dog, Mickey.
