Tommy Nelson Crosby, of Albany, Georgia passed away Friday, July 25, 2025 at his residence at the age of 78. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Mathews Funeral Home at 11:00 A.m. Interment to follow to Floral Memory Gardens. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Born on February 18, 1947, in Sale City, Georgia, to the late Clarence Crosby, Sr. and Louise Hewitt Crosby. For most of his career, Tommy worked for himself, founding and operating Crosby Construction. His hard work and expertise were instrumental in numerous projects throughout the area, including the foundation for the roller coasters at Wild Adventures.

Tommy had a love for the outdoors, he especially enjoyed fishing and hunting as well as spending time in his shop. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing gospel hymns, bringing joy to those around him.

Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Crosby, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Frances Crosby, of Albany, his children, Angela Parr (Neil) of Sylvester, Gregory Crosby of Newton, step-children, Graylon Brunson (Latrelle) of Leesburg, and Shaun Brunson (Jennifer) of Eastman, Georgia, his step- grandchildren, Chayse Brunson, Tanner Brunson, and Alex Brunson, his siblings, Alan Crosby, Eunice Parker, Alman Crosby, Linda Hurst, Mattie Proctor Lowe, and Ethel Barker.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Mathews Funeral Home from 10:00 until the funeral hour.
