Timothy Dwayne Tison

Timothy Dwayne Tison, 64, of Oakfield, GA., died Thursday, April 9, 2026 at his residence. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Stephen David Tison will officiate.

Dwayne was born in Albany, GA to the late Erwin and Shirley Tison. He was a loving and supportive brother. In his younger years, he played the bass guitar, loved music and could sing very well. He had a love for God that was instilled in him by his parents and grandparents. He was an avid reader and loved to soak up any knowledge he could about the Bible and history.

Survivors include his siblings, Jackie Dean Tison, Sr. (Tina), Karen Tison Souter (Derrell), Tonya Melinda Tison and Stephen David Tison (Renee) and several nieces and nephews.
