Tillie Marvette Hunt

Tillie Marvette Hunt, 88, of Albany, GA, died May, 31 2012 at Palmyra Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, June 4, 2012, at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Byron Miller will officiate. Interment at Floral Memory Gardens with Military Honors

A native of Henry County, AL, Mr. Hunt had resided in Albany, GA since 1960 moving from Donalsonville, GA. He was a retired Foreman with Georgia Pacific Paper Company, a WWII Army Veteran, a member of VFW Post 2785 and was a member of Albany Christian Church. Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his parents, Tillie Jay Hunt and Ethel Mae Mimms Hunt, a son, Thomas Marvette Hunt.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Hunt of Albany, GA; two daughters, Beverly (Robert) Fowler and Sheila Hunt all of Albany, GA; three sons, John (Marlene) Hunt of Oklahoma City, OK, Ricky (Sherrie) Hunt and Donald Hunt all Of Leesburg, GA; three sisters, Dorothy Campbell of Columbus, GA, Faye Olive of Anderson, SC and Sybil Burke of Donalsonville, GA; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the residence of, Beverly and Robert Fowler, 324 Mud Creek Road, Albany, GA 31721.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
