Thomas Ellis Norman

Thomas Ellis Norman, 94, of Albany, GA., died Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Willson Hospice House. He will lie in state Thursday June 8, 2023 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Interment will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Quitman, GA., he has lived in Albany since 1955. He was a fabricator and machinist, working for Gravely for over twenty years and later retiring from Industrial Manufacturing. Mr. Norman was a family man and enjoyed playing his guitar. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife of seventy years Joan Elizabeth Norman.

Survivors include his children, Seretha Joan Norman of Leesburg, GA, Thomas "Tom" Ethaniel Norman (Donna) of Kingsland, GA and Nathan M. Norman of Albany, GA, seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
