Sue Richardson

Sue Richardson, 84, of Albany, Ga, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Evergreen Assisted Living. Her remains have been cremated and a small family gathering will be held in Bonifay, Florida at a later date.

Sue was born on September 19, 1941 in Columbus, Ga to Burt and Janie Wilcox. The family later moved to Bonifay, Florida where she grew up. Sue was a data processor with C&S Bank in Albany and later with HCA Palmyra Medical Centers. She enjoyed reading, shopping and watching television. She was a great cook who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Christopher (Steve) Richardson and his wife, Jamie. A daughter, Tammy Boettcher (David) of Asheville, NC and a son, Jack Richardson, of Roswell, Ga. A granddaughter, Erika Carlsen (Brent) and four great-grandchildren, Rylea, Hadley, Teegan and William.

The love, care and compassion shown to Sue meant so much to her and to her family.
