Shirley Mae Breeden Shelley

Shirley Mae Shelley of Albany, GA., died Friday, April 24, 2026 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services were conducted at Mathews Funeral Home with interment being held at Leesburg Cemetery.

Shirley was born in Leesburg, GA., to the late Woodrow and Mamie Breeden. She was a homemaker and took care of her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her flowers, doing puzzles and coloring. Her daughter, Linda taught her how to crochet and she enjoyed doing that as well. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Walter Shelley, and her children, Randy Shelley, Diana Shelley, Christine Shelley and Mark Dean Shelly.

Survivors include her surviving children, Linda Mae Hopper (Billy D.), Randall Doyle Shelley (Karla Daniels), Mary Jane Franklin (Earl) and Becky Ann Duke (Ricky) eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren and one sister.
