Sherry Sue Fryer

Sherry S. Fryer, 75, of Albany, GA, died July 15, 2022 at Willson Hospice House.  No services will be held at this time.

Sherry was born on August 1, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN to Gene and Lois Carter.  She grew up in Fitzgerald, GA and graduated from Fitzgerald High School.  Sherry moved to Albany, GA in 1980 and graduated from Albany Junior College.  She was employed with Sherwood Baptist Church and worked with the teenagers.  Sherry was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie P. Evitt, Jr., Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Fryer of Albany, GA, a daughter, Trisha Raper Henderson of Daphne, AL, a step daughter, Beth (John) Flournoy and two step-grandchildren, Thomas and Taylor Flournoy all of Bronwood, GA.
