Sheri Lynn Lachmiller

Sheri Lynn Howard Lachmiller, 74, of Dawson, GA, died March 22, 2024 at her residence.  A private family graveside will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.   Ross Powell will officiate.

Sheri was born on May 19, 1949 in Cordele, GA to the late Glen and Kathryn Howard.  They moved to Dawson when she was two years old and she lived there all of her life.  Sheri graduated from Terrell County High School in 1968 and served as the City Clerk of Dawson for forty one years.  She was a simple and kind person, a member of Dawson Presbyterian Church and enjoyed reading, loved watching football, cooking and gardening. 

Survivors include her husband, Ed Lachmiller, her sister, Sandi Weaver, a nephew, Christopher Weaver and her dog, Maggie, all of Dawson, GA.
