Sharon Rosanne Guptill Cook

Sharon Rosanne Cook, 72, of Sylvester, GA, formally from Leesburg, died on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Pruitt Health Sylvester, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at New Life of Albany. Rev. Steve Waldron, Rev. John Kissell and Ben E. Green will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Rock Pond Cemetery, Iron City, GA

Born Grand Manan Island, Canada, Mrs. Cook moved to Albany, GA in 1985 and later moved to Lee County, GA. She  was employed with Fairway Toyota, and then Diamond Battery. Mrs. Cook was very active in church and worship at New Life of Albany, and  she enjoyed playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kenneth Cook and her parents, Sidney A. Guptill and Elizabeth Joyce Bagley Guptill, siblings, Carolyn Dawn Guptill, Wade Rupert Guptill, step-father, Ashley Jasper Morse.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracee L. Kissell (Rev. John Kissell) ,Pratt, KS, her son, Ben E. Green (Alice) of Grand Manan Island, Canada, sister, Jude Harvey and a brother, Vincent Guptill both of Grand Manan Island, Canada,  five grandchildren, Hannah Kissell Nolan (Nelson), Landon Green, Brooke Kissell, Keith Kissell, Scotlyn Green, and one great-grandchild, Max C. Nolan.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at New Life of Albany, 1200 Cordele Road, Albany, GA, 31705.
