Satoko Matsuno Mason

Satoko Matsuno Mason, 93, of Albany, GA died Thursday, August 11, 2022 at her home. The family will hold a graveside memorial service Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Floral Memorial Gardens.

Satoko was born on April 28, 1929 in Gifu-Kun, Japan to Nobuichi and Mitsuko Matsuno. She retired after thirty years from Cintas Uniform Company where she worked in alterations.

Satoko lived a very simple life. She was a very hard worker and a great cook. Her hobby was planting, tending, and harvesting her garden which took up a good portion of her back yard. When she wasn't at work, she worked in that garden all day. 

Survivors include her brothers, Tsukumo Matsuno and Kiyohide Matsuno, and sister, Fusae Hagiwara all of Japan.

The family would like to thank her caregivers Cathy Parks, Yoshiko Camp, Masami Davenport, Kim Bell, and the staff of Willson Hospice House for their tender care of Satoko.
