Sandra Lee Breckenridge died Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at The Willson Hospice House. 

 

Born in 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, Sandy lived in many places, but settled in Leesburg, Georgia in 1993. 

 

Sandy worked tirelessly throughout her career. She was employed with Potter Motor Company for 25 years and MidSouth Ice Company for many years. She finished her career journey with a loving and compassionate friend Tammy McCrary with ComNet Technical Solutions, Inc (CTSI). Tammy blessed Sandy with love and laughter during lady’s nights, community relations, and many cruise vacations. Sandy was chosen as CTSI’s employee of the Year in 2009. She was active with the Lee County Chamber of Commerce and was named the 2014 Ambassador of the Year. Sandy enjoyed fishing at Econfina River in Florida, doing crossword puzzles, and reading crime and murder mysteries.

 

Sandy was preceded in death by her Father, Willard Wesley Breckenridge and Mother, Gloria Ella Breckenridge. Sandy will forever be remembered by her six siblings, Linda Kappert (Gerrit), Candy Mann, Sharon Hembree (Billy), William Breckenridge, Wendy Breckenridge, and Wesley Breckenridge (Norma Sue), three daughters, Gloria Provoncha (Keith), Robin Berry (Chris), and Lorelei Mears, four grandchildren, Jeremy Provoncha (Samantha), Kimberly Mears, Christopher Provoncha, and Michael Provoncha, and one great granddaughter, Alyssa Provoncha.  

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Ln, Albany, GA 31707.

Sandy requested no funeral service. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
