Sanders (Sandy) Edward Clark

Sanders (Sandy) Clark, 71, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, May 9, 2011 at Wilson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM at Pine Bluff Baptist Church. Pastor Keith Smith and Pastor Bruce Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Sylvester, GA.

A native of Tifton, GA, Sandy had resided in Albany for the past thirty years moving from Sylvester, GA. He was an Auditor and desk clerk at the Ramada Inn, an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church. Sandy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. Clark and Evelyn Bryan Clark, a son, Ed Clark and a brother Everett Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Clark of Albany, GA, a daughter, Marcy Terry of Albany, GA, a step-daughter, Dollie Crowe and her husband, David of Pike Road, AL, two step-sons, Tommy Carr and his wife, Gwen and Harold Carr all of Albany, GA, three brothers and their wives, Buddy and Judy Clark of Flowery Branch, GA, Wendell and Claire Clark of Canton, GA and Cottle and Joyce Clark of Ocean Port, NJ, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
