Ronald Jack "Ronnie" Beamon

Ronald Jack “Ronnie” Beamon, 63, of Montezuma, GA, formerly of Lee County, GA passed away, November 9, 2025 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Simon Franklin will officiate.

Ronnie was born at Fayetteville, NC while his father was serving in the Military. He was raised in Lee County, GA, was a member of Smithville Baptist Church and graduated from Lee County High School. He was an electrician and was employed with Pressley Electric and Georgia Electric. Ronnie enjoyed watching The Georgia Dawgs play, hunting and fishing. He moved to Montezuma, GA five years ago, where he was a self-employed electrician. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Christine Beamon in 2021.

Survivors include his daughters, Brandy Hazen (Erick) of Lee County, GA and Blaire Wood (Steven) of O’Fallon, IL, his father, Jack Beamon of Lee County, GA, his sister, Jane Beamon Liggin (Scott) of Lee County, GA, his grandchildren, Weston Wood and Ansley Wood of O’Fallon, IL and Dylan Hatcher of Lee County, GA and his nieces, Christian Freeman (Dylan) of Brunswick, GA and Taylor Tyson (Travis) of Lee County, GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.  Following the service, Brandy would like to receive family at her home at 154 Senah Drive, Leesburg, GA, 31763.
