Rodney Sam Moore, Jr

The funeral service of Rodney S. Moore, Jr. 75, of Albany, GA, who died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Friday, April 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Ravenswood, WVA, Mr. Moore had resided in Albany, GA for the past fifty eight years. He was the owner of Rod Moore Produce and attended Kinchafoonee Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Moore, Albany, GA, three sons, Bryan Moore, Belpre, OH,

Brian Simmons (Manya), Pensacola, FL, Bobby Shank (Laura), Ocala, FL, a brother, Leon Moore (Juliet), Albany, GA, a sister, Agnes Giles, Albany, GA, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and eleven nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
