Robert Franklin Russell

Robert Franklin Russell, 80, of Leesburg, GA passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at Willson Hospice House. 

Robert was predeceased by his parents, and brother. Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Emily Russell, Leesburg, GA, and daughter, Kim Goldener and her husband Richard, Cherry Log, GA.  

Robert traveled across the country with Kimberly Clark Corporation, and several lifelong friendships were made.  He served in the Army Reserves and was a proud NC State Dad.  Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman, and taught fly casting and fly tying to anyone interested in learning.  He loved his church family at Porterfield Methodist Church.
