Robert (Bob) William Hartley, Sr

Robert (Bob) W. Hartley, Sr., 84, of Leesburg, GA, died Tuesday January 3, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday January 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye and Rev. Michael P. Lyons will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg City Cemetery.

A native of Peach County GA Mr. Hartley had resided in Leesburg since 1960 moving from Griffin, GA. He was retired from Lee State Prison and was the former owner of Leesburg Auto. Mr. Hartley was a Navy Veteran serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict and was a member of Leesburg United Methodist Church. Mr. Hartley was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Coxwell Hartley and a son, Robert W. Hartley, Jr.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Deryl and Buddy Wiggins of Gray, GA, daughter-in-law, Jane Hartley of Leesburg, GA, Four grandchildren, Phillip K. (Mandi) Wiggins and Justin Wiggins all of Gray, GA, Amanda Hartley Cox (Anthony) and Kimberly Hartley (Chris) all of Leesburg, GA and nine great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Wiggins, Hunter Wiggins, Dakota Cox, Brandon Cox, Anthony (Blake) Cox, Caleb Cox, Aaliyah Clayton, Ivy (Sister) Clayton and Christopher Clayton.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
