Robert “Bubba” Eric Bruner, 50, of Leesburg, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025.

Born on December 24, 1974, Bubba proudly served in the United States Army. He was the oldest of three brothers, a loving father, and a man who valued family, friendship, and the outdoors. He worked as a skilled electrician, respected for his hard work and dedication.

Bubba was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman. He enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams—the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs—and found peace in hunting, fishing, and spending time outside. His greatest joy came from being with family, especially his nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Jesse. He also treasured the friendship of Colby Eubanks, who remained a constant companion over the years.

Bubba will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His humor, strength, and love left a lasting impression on everyone he met. This is not goodbye—it’s “See you later.”

He is survived by, his daughter, Scharlie Parker (Adel, GA), son, Bo Bruner (Leesburg, GA), mother, Debra Newell Monroe (James Parr) (Leesburg, GA), father, Robby Bruner (the late Mary Bruner) (Leesburg, GA), brothers: Bryan Bruner (Cristy) (Leesburg, GA), Britt Bruner (the late Katie Bruner) (Athens, GA), sisters: Melissa Bogadi (Leesburg, GA), Dawn Ward-Dobbs (Crawfordville, FL), aunts: Polly Miller (the late Chuck Miller) (Iron City, GA), Debbie Bruner (Leesburg, GA), Patty Bruner (Leesburg, GA), numerous more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and cherished friends

He was preceded in death by, grandparents: Eric and Pauline Newell, and Robert and Betty Bruner, uncle, Roger Newell, aunt, Charlotte Hurst.

Bubba’s life will be honored and remembered by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
