Richard Stanteiski, of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at 2506 Foxridge Drive, Albany, GA 31721.
Rick was born in Woonsocket, RI on November 22, 1967. He was raised in Sylvester and attended Worth County High School. Rick was previously employed by Harvey’s in stocking and customer service. He enjoyed playing drums for a band, teaching Native American heritage, re-enacting of Muscogee Creek Heritage, drawing, and modeling. Rick loved to crack jokes. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Stanteiski, and father-in-law, Dawaine Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Bridget Lea Stanteiski of Albany, son, Mason Stanteiski of Sylvester, step-daughters, Brittany Holland (Dylan) of Atlanta and Lakyn Kelly of Panama City, FL. , mother Julie Stanteiski of Sylvester, brothers Walter Stanteiski (BEST FRIEND) of MA, Daniel Stanteiski of GA, sisters Jennifer Salo (Bob), Jackie Graves, and Sara Wright (Brandley), uncle, Buddy Johnson all of GA, aunt, Debbie Stanteiski of MA, several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations in memory of Richard Stanteiski to the American Indian College Fund.
