Richard "Rick" Harold Borsdorf

Richard Harold Borsdorf, 68, of Albany, Georgia, passed away at home on September 8, 2026.

Rick was born on June 27, 1958, and served as a mortarman in the United States Marine Corps for four years. Rick couldn’t stay still and enjoyed building, fixing, and working with his hands. He was always in the middle of a new project around the house, fixing things and remodeling rooms in his free time.

He loved to grill and built a beautiful outdoor kitchen and bar, where he spent time laughing with friends and family.

Rick is survived by his wife, Tricia; his children, Tina Turbiasz (Steven Wing) and Christa Bland (Kevin); his grandchildren, Nisa, Aidan, Richard, Madelyn, and Liam; his siblings, Patti Phelan, Sandy Auernig, Dan Dawson, Mike Dawson (Jill), and Nancy Langlands (Guy); his nephews, Chris Dawson and Michael Dawson (Kellea); and his niece, Colleen Dawson.

Rick will be remembered for his kindness, creativity, stubbornness, and fierce love and loyalty to his family.
