Rhonda Vaughan Lambert

Rhonda Vaughan Lambert, 76, of Albany, GA passed away November 29, 2025 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 11:00 am at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev Brenda Morris will officiate.

Rhonda was born in Americus, GA on August 16, 1949 to the late William and Agnes Vaughan. She was raised in Albany from a young age. She graduated from Albany High School in 1967. Rhonda was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist church and was employed with Albany Internal Medicine for thirty-two years before retiring in 2014. She was known to her AIM family as poet laureate. Rhonda enjoyed writing poetry, furnishing a beautiful home and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leon Lambert.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Denise and Matt Miller of Worth County, GA and a granddaughter Sarahgrace Miller, a nephew Blake Daniels and his wife Carolyn and great nephews, Kelly Daniels and Asa Dow of Valdosta, GA.
