Raymond M. (Ray) Nollman, Jr

Raymond M. (Ray) Nollman, Jr., 58, of Lee County, GA, died November 12, 2016 at his residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell, Dr. Glenn Zuern and Mr. Dean Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Ray was a native of Albany, GA and was born to the late Raymond and Edith Nollman, Sr. He graduated from Dougherty High School in 1976 and attended Diesel Mechanic School. Ray was employed with United Parcel Service, but spent the majority of his career with Ryder Leasing Corporation with service in Atlanta, GA and Blountville, TN before returning to Lee County, GA in 2014. He loved to fish and make people laugh.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Carraway Nollman of Lee County, GA, a daughter, Penny Nollman of Rex, GA, two sons, Raymond M. (Trey) Nollman, III of Atlanta, GA and Matthan Nollman and his wife, Stephanie of McDonough, GA, a step-daughter, Kristen Fortuna and her husband, Philip of Virginia Beach, VA and several grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by a step-son, Cory Bell.
