Raymond Allen Clark, Jr.

Raymond Allen Clark, Jr. of Doerun, GA., died Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Columbus Specialty Hospital. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Mathews Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 4:00 pm.

Born in Americus, GA., Mr. Clark graduated from Lee County High School in 1962. After graduation he served his county in the United States Navy. When he completed his time in service he went to work with Diebold where he was employed for twenty five years. He then went on to start his own business in 1986, RAC services which he operated until his death. Mr. Clark loved nature and enjoyed scuba diving and going on hunting trips to South America. He loved boats and fast cars. Mr. Clark was a member of Smithville Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Laverne Clark.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Dockery (Mark), his grandchildren, Cadence Rae Dockery and Samuel Cain Dockery and his lifelong friends, Marian Cox and Norman and Laura Walker.
