Ralph Edward Toholsky, a longtime resident of Albany, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. A funeral mass will be held Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Teresa's Catholic Church with Rev. Ray Leverault officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.

Ralph was born on March 10, 1938, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the second son of the late Henry and Bertha Toholsky. He graduated from Hanover High School in 1955 and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Major before retiring after 22 years of service. Following his military career, he was employed by the Carlton Company in Albany as an IT Manager for 28 years.

 Ralph was a longtime member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and a honorary member, fourth degree-Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed woodworking and especially loved spending time at the beach. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his older brother, Frank; his first wife, Marian; son, David Toholsky; and grandson, Jon Piccola.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judy; his son, Daniel (Karen) Toholsky of Woodstock, GA and his daughter, Theresa Toholsky of Arvada, CO and his grandchildren, Preston, Lila, Marshall, Joshua, Aaron, Madison, Jacob and Jason. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to his loving and devoted caregivers: Brenda Stuart, Bertha Pope, Betty Robinson, Cynthia Cox, Janice Charles, Sharica Cox, and GA Hospice Care for the compassionate care they provided.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Teresa’s Catholic Church Outreach Center, 421 Edgewood Lane, Albany, GA 31707.  

The family will receive friends Friday before the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the gathering room at St. Teresa's Catholic Church.
