Ralph Earl McKnight

Ralph Earl McKnight, Sr., 73, of Leslie, GA died Monday, July 4, 2022 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. No public services will be held at this time.

Born in Blakely, GA to Woodie and Ethel Mae McKnight, Ralph grew up in Albany, graduating from Albany High School. He was employed with the Albany Fire Department for twenty years and after he retired, he was employed with the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Department as Bailiff.  Ralph enjoyed fishing and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Theresa McKnight, Auline Carter, Robert McKnight, Woodie McKnight, Jr., and Jody McKnight.

Survivors include his two children, Kim Mullis of Leslie, GA, and R.E. (Ralph) McKnight, Jr. of Sylvester, GA, grandchildren, Paul Jackson of Leslie, GA, Logan McKnight of Worth County, GA, and great grandchildren, Hayven Jackson, Gabriel Jackson, and Brandon Jackson.
