Ralph Lester March, Jr

Ralph L. March, Jr., 74, of Albany, GA, died December 24, 2024 at Emory University Hospital on Clifton Road. A memorial service will be held January 4, 2025 at 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Ralph was born in Greenville, SC to Ralph and Mary March, Sr. on January 17, 1950. His family moved to Albany, GA in 1963 where he graduated from Albany High School in 1968 and Darton College in 1970. He was employed with Motion Industries for thirty six years. Ralph liked old cars, car shows, horses, and horse racing and Secretariat was his favorite. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved pet and companion, “Sugar Baby”.

Survivors include his sisters, Joann (Chris) Anthony of Lee County, GA and Debbie March of Albany, GA, a niece, Alexandria Elizabeth Anthony of Cumming, GA, a nephew, Christopher James (Meggan) Anthony of Albany, GA and his great-nephews, Asher James Anthony and William Christopher Anthony.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
