Rachel Pinkston Weitnauer

Rachel Pinkston Weitnauer of Parrott, GA., died Thursday, February 16, 2023 at her residence. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Parrott Cemetery. Rev. David Weitnauer will officiate.

 

Born in Cuthbert, GA., to the late Roy and Mary Pinkston, Rachel moved back home to Parrott and lived in the Atlanta area. She attended Queens College and graduated from the University of Georgia. Mrs. Weitnauer was a teacher at Huntley Hills Elementary. After teaching she became passionate about antiques and worked as an antique dealer for many years. She attended Parrott United Methodist Church. Rachel undoubtedly made an impact on everyone she met and left this world a better place than she found it. 

 

She is survived and will forever be loved by her husband Joel Weitnauer, her sons Brent Weitnauer (Sheila) and Blake Weitnauer (Meredith) her grandchildren, Anna Weitnauer, Kate Weitnauer, Sam Weitnauer and Will Weitnauer as well as her twin brother, Roy Pinkston, Jr.
