Patrick "Pat" Michael Walsh

Patrick Michael Walsh of Lee County, GA, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Lighthouse Ministries with Military Honors. Rev. Chris Turner will officiate.

Pat was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 10, 1949 to the late Frank and Helen Walsh. He grew up in Macon, GA and graduated from Willingham High School. Pat joined the United States Marine Corps and retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant after twenty-eight years of service.

Pat served as the Public Works Director for the City of Leesburg, GA for twelve years before retiring. He was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church, was a Master Mason and member of Chehaw Lodge # 701. Pat was also a member of The Loyal Order of The Moose # 1285, loved spending time with his grandchildren and going to Casino’s.

He was preceded in death his wife, Judy Clark Walsh. Survivors include his children, Chad Scoggins of Havelock, NC, Michelle Patterson (Shawn) of Lititz, PA, Richard Crawford (Dawn) of Albany, GA and Kristie Godwin (Joel) of Byron, GA, two sisters, Janice Foster of Gray, GA and Joyce Nix of Byron, GA, nine grandchildren, Jessie Stoner (David) of Manheim, PA, Jack Faulk (Brandi) of Milledgeville, GA, Hannah Mikul (Eric) of Havelock, NC, Kyle Scoggins of Havelock, NC, Kerri Rawlins of Byron, GA, Caleb Godwin of Byron, Zoe Coker (Dalton) of Blanchard, OK , Wren Crawford of Jacksonville, FL, and Britta Reed of Albany, GA, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers desiring may make memorials in memory of Pat to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
