Patricia Hamby Winderweedle

Patricia Hancock Hamby Winderweedle, 91, of Dawson, died Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Dawson with Rev. Currie Spoon officiating. The family will have a private interment.

Born in Acree, Mrs. Winderweedle, lived in Dawson most of her life before moving to Lee County to live with her daughter. She was a retired RN, graduating for Riverside School of Nursing. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Dawson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Lewis t. “Tal” Hamby, Sr. and Franklin D. Winderweedle.

She is survived by her son, Lewis T. Hamby, Jr., daughters, Lisa H. Garrett (Mike), April H. Harris (Joey), grandchildren, Allison Garrett, Brittany Rainey (Bennett), John Garrett (Liz), Catherine Campbell (Tyler), Marcus Hamby (Casey), Noah Harris, Savana Cain (Kaleb), great grandchildren, Maci Hambi, Ella Garrett, Ezra Garrett, Gwyneth Garrett, Meira Campbell, Una Jane Rainey and Kamden Cain.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church of Dawson.
