Patricia Ann Sanders Pollock

Patricia Ann Sanders Pollock, 81, of Albany, GA passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Minister Brian Howard and Minister Jesse Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Albany, GA.

Born March 10, 1941 in Opelika, AL, Mrs. Pollock had resided in Albany, GA since 1955, moving from Opp, AL. She was affectionately known as “Tritter” to her family. “Tritter” met “Sonny” in Albany, they married July 16,1957, having their first child April 16,1958. Mrs. Pollock was employed with Coats & Clark in Albany for years, before becoming a stay-at-home mom for many years. Later she was employed with H&R Block for 12 years before retiring permanently. Mrs. Pollock was a devout Christian woman and member of the Church of Christ since 1968.

Mrs. Pollock was preceded in death by her parents, L. C. Sanders and Bessie Astoria Sanders Babb, her 5 siblings, her husband of 41 years, William Creel (Sonny) Pollock and a grandson, Joshua Pollock. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ at the time of her death.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Pollock (Debra), Wayne Pollock (Leslie), David Pollock (Debbie) all of Albany, Randy Pollock (Wendy) of Tifton, and a daughter, Becky Pollock of Albany, grandchildren, Anna Higgs (John), Brandon Pollock (Paislea), Wesley Pollock, Renee Hargrove (Raymond), Jamie Kitchens (Adam), William “Buddy” Pollock (Amanda), Kristina Pollock, Addison Pollock (Athena), Jake Smith, Sunnie Gaebler, Thomas Gaebler, Zachary Gaebler, Sofie Gaebler, Gavin Pollock, Dustin Pollock and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Mathews Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
