Patricia Ann "Tricia" Maxwell

Patricia “Tricia” Fickel Maxwell, 70, of Lee County, GA and Santa Rosa Beach, FL died in her home December 26, 2023 in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.  Visitation will be held Monday, January 1, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home, Rev. Dan Harris will officiate.   A private committal service will be held Tuesday at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Tricia was born on September 2, 1953 to Roy and Virginia Fickel.  She grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany High School and continued her education at Georgia Southwestern State University.  Tricia was employed with SunTrust Bank (now Truist) for thirty-one years as the director of Human Resources for the State of Georgia.   She was then employed as The Executive Assistant to the CEO of Renasant Bank for ten years.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Maxwell of Lee County, GA, her children, Ronnie (Amber) Skates Jr., of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Charlie (Misty) Maxwell Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN, Mike (Heather) Maxwell, Jim (Ashley) Maxwell and Kelly Knight all of Lee County, GA, her brother, Rodney (Kay) Fickel of Lee County, GA, her grandchildren, Jordan Skates, Hunter Skates, Logan Maxwell, Charlie (Chandler) Maxwell III, Garret Suiter, Marley Knight, Dakota (Logan) Knight, Trevor (Teasie) Cleveland, Tori Cleveland, Macey Maxwell, Grayson Maxwell, Emily (Chandler) Hughes and C.J. Everson and two great grandchildren, Josie Hughes and Liam Maxwell.

The family will receive friends following the services at 192 Dogwood Ln, Leesburg, Ga.
