Patricia L. Davis

Patricia L. Summers, 80, of Americus, GA, formerly of Albany, GA, passed away March 16, 2026 at Phoebe Sumter Hospital.

Patricia was born in Jersey City, NJ on October 29, 19425 to the late Thomas and Mary Catherine Davis and grew up in Tom’s River, NJ. She attended St. Joseph’s Grade School and graduated from Donavan Catholic High School. Patrica married her high school sweetheart, Arthur I. Summers when they were 19 years old and recently celebrated their 61st anniversary.

Patricia and family moved to Albany, GA in 1979 from Camillus, NY and was a homemaker, mom and owned and operated Pat’s French Press Coffee Shop.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur I. Summers of Americus, GA, her children, John E. (Teresa) Summers of Leesburg, GA, Thomas (Jennifer) Summers of Grand Rapids, MI and Denis Hancock of Columbia, SC, a sister, Mary Davis of Florida., her grandchildren, Jordan Hamby (Chandler) of Sparks, GA, Ty (Ella) Summers of Leesburg, GA, Nicole Giddens of Columbia, SC, Brooke Summers and Collin Summers both of Grand Rapids, MI and her great-grandchildren, Henry Summers, Blakely Mae Hamby and Hank Hamby.
