Osceola "Beaver" Lawson

Osceola “Beaver” Lawson, 81, of Leesburg, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her residence. Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Leesburg Cemetery.  Brother Brandon Walls will officiate.

Born in Juliette, GA, Mrs. Lawson had lived in the Albany area most of her life and retired from  Miller-Coors after 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael Lackey.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Lawson, brother, Tex Evans, sister, Barbara Jo Knight, stepson, Wayne Lawson, step daughter, April Green, grandchildren, Dana Lackey, Draven Lackey, Landon Lackey, great grandchildren, J J Hutcheson, Skyler Hutcheson, Mattie Hutcheson, best friends, Donna Wood, Janee’ Lackey, Linda Mahan, caregiver Kwajalion Guest and Physical Therapist, Ryan Dean.

Mrs. Lawson will lie in state from 12 noon to 5 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Mathews Funeral Home.
