Olan Mark Kimbrell

Olan Mark Kimbrell, 65, of Albany, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Friday September 18, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Justin Friar will officiate.

Mark was a lifelong resident of Albany, GA born on July 28, 1961 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Albany High School. Mark was employed at Water, Gas and Light for over 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting and tournament fishing. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Katie Sue Campbell and Billy Jack Campbell.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandy (Dustin) Hickox of Lee County, GA, his siblings, Connie Hart of Moultrie, GA, James Melvin “Joey” (Katy) Kimbrell of Bradenton, FL, Randy Campbell of Jackson, MS and Tim (Tina) Campbell of Albany, GA and two precious grandchildren, C.J. Hickox and Jack Hickox.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
