Naveen Anand Gunda passed away peacefully in Leesburg, Georgia on July 29, 2025, at the age of 50, surrounded by his devoted family Mrs. Sheryl Gunda and Daughter Shreya Karen Gunda. Brother Mrs. & Mr. Paul Prashanth Gunda and Prathyusha Gunda children Pranay Joshua and Anaya Gunda.

Born on April 29, 1975, in Hyderabad, India, to Mrs. & Mr. Vidyasagar Gunda Mechanical Engineer Union Carbide and Mother Science Educator Indira Vidyasagar, Naveen, he was the eldest of the two siblings. His Loving Aunt and Amma for him Ms. Madhulatha Gattu. He grew up in Hyderabad, India alongside his brother, loving cousins (Rohit and Vineet) and sister (Prathibha) and friends. The family later relocated to Georgia USA. From a young age, Naveen was known for his kind heart and deep sense of generosity, qualities that would define his entire life.

Naveen was a wonderful and loving son in law for Mrs. & Mr. Sampath Kumar and Jessy Lalitha who are in India. He was a Loving Jiju for Merlyn and Bava for Issac and Anna for Franklin and Peddadaddy for Zoe and Yvoni.

Naveen poured his heart into his family for Sheryl and Shreya, always giving his time, energy, and love without expectation. He was a steady, caring presence, a devoted husband, father and a loving soul. He treasured every moment with them and took great pride in their accomplishments.

He has been a loving Brother and member of the AICF family and Greater Vision Baptist Church. He will be missed by Everyone who knew him.

Outside of work, Naveen was a man of many talents and passions. He was especially known for his “mastery” in playing chess. His hobbies were never just pastimes; they were acts of giving, often shared with family and friends.

He leaves behind his uncles, aunts and loving kids who brought him endless joy and prayed for him and his family.

He cherished his moments being with family and Friends in Americus and Albany GA.

Naveen's life was marked by generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. He gave without hesitation, loved without limits, and lived with an enthusiastic vigor. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the life he lived, the love he gave, and the legacy he leaves behind.

A Wake service celebrating the life of Naveen will be held at Mathews Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 3:00 pm and Followed by Fellowship dinner at Columbus Nights. Graveside will be held on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at 10:00 am at Leesburg Cemetery, Opposite to Lee County High School. Pastor Rhys Key, Greater Vision Baptist Church will officiate the ceremony.
