Myra C. Hardie

Myra Hardie, 70, of Albany, GA, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Carrie Myers will officiate


A native of Miami, FL, Myra had resided in Albany since 1974, moving from Miami, FL. She was a Dental Hygienist at Turner Job Corps Center and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Albany. Myra was preceded in death by her husband James E. Hardie, parents, Jamie Chaney and Avy Lee Tillis Chaney.


Survivors include her son and his wife, Tim and Michelle Hardie, a granddaughter, Riley Hardie all of Ellabell, GA. sister and her husband, Suzette and Charles Rice of Miami, FL, step-mother, Marie Chaney of Mims, FL, step-sister and her husband, Arlene and Tom Averill of Mims, FL.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Mathews Funeral Home.
