Mitchell Jackson "Mitch" Miller

Mitchell Jackson “Mitch” Miller, 58, of Leesburg, GA died Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Lee County. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

Mitch was born in Dawson, GA on January 25, 1964. He was raised in Dawson and attended Terrell Academy. Mitch was employed by the Albany Herald in delivery and circulation. He enjoyed cars, and animals were drawn to him. Mitch was outgoing and friendly; he made friends easily, making everyone around him feel special. He made an effort to care for friends and anyone in need. He greeted everyone with a big smile, a big heart, and a big hug. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Miller, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Anne Beavers Bauch of Hobe Sound, FL, brothers, Benjamin “Bennie” Miller, Jr. of Macon, GA, Robert Miller of Tallahassee, FL, Chandler Miller and wife Shae of Birmingham, AL, sisters Kimberly Price and husband Trevor of Dothan AL, Crystal Todd and husband John of Perry, GA, several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations in memory of Mitch Miller to the Lee County Animal Shelter, 101 Mossy Dell Road, Leesburg, GA 31763.
