Mills "Clark" Giddings

Mills "Clark" Giddings, 79, of Albany, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Dr. Morris Harp and Rev. Chris Turner will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

Clark was born in Douglas, GA and educated in the public school system. He was captain of the high school football team and vice president of the high school junior class. After graduation, he attended and graduated from South Georgia College, Douglas, GA and then joined the US Navy and was trained as an electronics technician. 

After his service time, he joined Reddick Motors, Inc. in Valdosta, GA where he sold Pontiacs, Cadillacs and Datsun automobiles. He was a member of the Pontiac Master sales guild and served as the secretary in 1977.

Clark joined the Electrolux Group and became a store manager and trainer of representatives. He later became self-employed for the rest of his life before retirement; also, he was a member of the vice president's club for four years and convention trip winner twelve times.

Mr. Giddings was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Granville Giddings and Hazel Ruth Hodges Giddings.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Strickland Giddings, Albany, GA, and a sister, Glenda Giddings Crenshaw, Dallas, TX.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
