Mildred Harris Griffin

Mildred Lee Griffin, 91, passed away at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation, on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Enigma City Cemetery. Rev. Mark Stone will officiate.

She was born in Ocilla, GA. She was the daughter of Walker C. Harris and Essie Gray Harris. She grew up in Enigma where she graduated from high school. She married Elbert Griffin on June 15, 1947. The moved to Albany in the 1950’s. She was a homemaker and a seamstress, and loved to fish. She loved her many friends and God.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her sons, Dannis Griffin (Patti), Grayson Griffin (Debbie) all of Albany, Tommy Griffin (Brenda), Helen, GA, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
