Mickey Ann Singletary, 91 of Albany, Ga. passed away peacefully at her son and daughter in law's home in Fayetteville Ga. on November 26th, 2025.  Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service at Crown Hill Cemetery

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Singletary, sister, Darlene Wilson, and her mother and father. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, and she will be deeply missed.

Mickey was born in Colquitt County, to Simmie and Grace Thompson, on October 12, 1934. She was originally from Albany, GA, but later moved to Fayetteville, Ga. She attended Ga. School for the Deaf in Cave Springs GA from grade school until graduation. She eventually married her sweetheart Roscoe F. Singletary in 1955 and resided in Albany, GA

She dedicated her life to her family and her passion to creating a beautiful home. Mickey's yard was a testament to her green thumb, a vibrant sanctuary of flowers and ferns that she happily shared with everyone. Her loving spirit brightened the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her two sons, Steven Carey Singletary (Kim) and Terry Roscoe Singletary, her sister Katie Griffis. Her grandchildren: Josh, Jeremy (Allyce), Jake (Tori) and Zachary. Her great grandchildren: Gwen, Colton, Savannah, Harper, McKaela, and many nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome, but those desiring please make a donation to a Dementia Research center of your choice, to help with a cure for this debilitating disease. You may also make a donation to the Georgia School for the Deaf.
